Chief Executive Officer
Denise Sapienza’s mission as principle and chief executive of Certified Interiors Inc. is to continue the excellence in business she established almost 30 years ago and to lead our next generation of Cii construction professionals.
Ms. Sapienza’s extensive experience in sales, cost control, estimating, operations and marketing ensures that Certified Interiors will continue the best in class management, quality and service our clients deserve and expect. Denise personifies our mantra Construction Without Compromise.
Robert A. Levey
Chief Operating Officer
Robert Levey, with over 30 years of experience in the carpentry and construction business is the COO and the leader of the Certified Interiors operations team. Roberts focus is on project and field management and day-to-day operational efficiencies, and brings a true appreciation for the construction industry.
Robert joined Certified Interiors in 1986 and throughout his tenure and unwavering work ethic has directly assisted in the company’s growth and development.
Glen Haraden
President
Mr. Haraden started with Certified Interiors in 1985 and has over 40 years of experience in the carpentry and millwork industry. Glen joined the team based on the company’s reputation and the ability for tremendous growth to expand his career.
As President of Certified Interiors, Glen oversees all estimating activities as well as a focus on each project, working directly with our clients and the project management team.
Joseph J. Pennisi
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Pennisi joined Certified Interiors in 2005 as CFO and is responsible for developing the financial well-being of our organization, overseeing the company’s fiscal activity, assuring regulatory compliance and transparency and assists and advises senior management in identifying and managing risk.
Prior to joining Certified Interiors, Joe has held positions in both public and private accounting with ever increasing responsibility.Joe has consistently contributed to the growth and success of Certified Interiors.
Peter Geiger
Project Executive
With over 20 years of experience in project management, Peter Geiger’s appreciation for leadership involvement with every client, building strong relationships to care for each clients unique needs and the ability to grow and innovate within the organization, lead Peter to join Certified Interiors in 2014.
Peter firmly believes that our clients are a part of every solution, from start to finish.
Thomas Gaulrapp
Director of Field Operations
Thomas has 20 years’ experience in commercial renovation and interior fit-out projects. He started his career as a union carpenter apprentice, rising to Foreman before joining the NYC District Council of Carpenters as a business agent.
His depth of understanding and proactive approach guides our field staff. Projects lead by Thomas exceed client expectations, representing the high quality and seamless execution that is expected of Certified Interiors’ work.

Richards technical and analytical skills allow for a thorough understanding of drawings and specifications and the ability to decimate scope to the project team. With over 14 years of estimating experience, Richard brings added value to each of our clients.

At Certified Interiors, our goal is to continuously practice best in class safety procedures leading to zero accidents and injuries. We ensure that our team is professionally trained and meets or exceeds all NYC and local law requirements. All of our carpenters hold a minimum of a OSHA 30-hour Occupational Safety and Health Training card.
